However, Miune is right at least in that companies or individuals should not make guarantees that either can't be met or may not be met, naivety is not really a valid excuse. Lena makes some valid points about the true situation, they don't appear to have run off with money, intentions were no doubt good and I would add that the game is (or will be) more complete than many other Kickstarted games out there. It's sad that it will never be fully feature complete but when I backed it I knew this could happen despite the "guarantees" and assumed that some goals probably wouldn't be met. I got my money's worth from the game as far as I'm concerned and will play it again once the final version is done so I am reasonably happy with it. just try to see things objectively, that helps a ton. Noone is defending anything, yes, it sucked that they werent able to fullfil every kickstarter promise, yes they dropped the ball, but playing the blame game and being completely butthurt doesnt help your case either. plus radiant entertainment wont exist anymore past 2018 so you dont have to worry about that. you sound very much misinformed, or not informed at all that is. 750k + sales, team of 10-15 people, annually salary of a programmer: 80k, i think you can do the math how long the money lasts if you consider the development period, so your whole point of running with the money is absolutely moot. I'm tired of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excuses, and I'm tired of people finding this sort of behavior acceptableĮxcept that its not the case that they took the money and ran. Stonehearth devs i'll be watching extra hard to make sure I buy NOTHING from you or any of your companies, and I'll be spreading that word around. this is purely a case of taking the money and running. the bottom line is, if you promise something, deliver on it.
